Nicole Christensen and Club Vice President Jen Lombard

For our April meeting Advanced Master Gardener Nicole Christensen gave a presentation of “It’s a Great Big World of Insects.” 

Nicole introduced us to many of the insects that are present in our area and how they are beneficial.  After the presentation, Nicole spent time speaking with members and answering their many questions.

Nicole brought insect display cases which had all types of insects for the members to view.

Horticulture Chair Michelle Bernier gave a presentation about “Direct Sowing vs Indirect Sowing of Seeds for our Gardens” and our Horticulture table was a showcase of spring blooms.
