April 2024 – Intriguing Birds

For our April 1st meeting we welcomed Cheryl Basztura who shared with us a Power Point Presentation of “Intriguing Birds.

Cheryl shared with us many interesting facts about birds she has seen in her backyard and during her travels.

Some of the native birds that Cheryl has seen in her own backyard included Chickadees, Nuthatches, Juncos and Titmice.

Birds seen in her travels included Boobies, Cranes, Frigatebirds, Ostriches and many other exotic birds.

 

At our club business meeting, club Vice-President Jen Lombard shared with us the new proposed club yearbook.  This year’s theme will be “To Plant a Garden is to Believe in Tomorrow.”

 

 

Club President Lisa DiNardo shared with us the new signs for our Annual Plant Sale to be held on Saturday, May 18th from 9am to 1pm at St. Paul’s Church parking lot.

 

 

Dee Blewett shared the different spring flowers, provided by club members, that brightened our Horticulture Table.
