2016 Ikebana Presentation

At our August 2016 meeting, we hosted a beginner ikebana lesson for members.  Ikebana (生け花, “arranging flowers”) is the Japanese art of flower arrangement, also known as kadō (華道, the “way of flowers”).1  Members had the opportunity to watch a live demonstration of the traditional Upright form and received instructional materials for creating their own arrangements at home.
